Growing Boys

So, it was February 15th, and we had gotten Maverick a big boy bed. He threw up in it and was back into the crib (both are in his room right now). So it was February 16th, and it was time for bed and Maverick asked to go to his new bed. Expecting crying and a lot of playing to come from the room, Scott and I waited in anticipation. But, within minutes, it was quiet. We checked on him about 20 minutes later and he was fast asleep in his new bed. Keep your fingers crossed!! He has also gone potty on the toilet at least once a day for almost a week. I would love to be rid of diapers.

On President's Day, we went to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science with my dad and Jan (Pop and Grammy). Memphis wanted to see dinosaurs, not realizing they weren't going to be alive. But, it was fun. It is always interesting to go to places like that with a 4 year old and a 1 year old.

Memphis had his Valentine party at school and I got this great picture of him with his best friends at school, Jack, Kylie, and Nico. It wasn't like I remember Valentine parties at school, but it was fun for them. Funny how times have changed. I felt the need to ask all the parents for permission to post their children's picture on the blog. Obviously, I got it.
Scott and I got a night out on Valentines Day. We went to the Mammoth game together. Usually Memphis gets to go now. It was nice to be with him and we both love the games. Unfortunately, Maverick threw up while the babysitter was here. She calmly called and asked where the towels were. We said we would come home, but she said no, she was fine. She is the best!!
So, does anyone have suggestions on how to keep your house clean? I go to other people's houses and they are always nice and clean, even when I just drop by. How do they do it?
Well, hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day.

Hodge Podge

A fun filled weekend again. The boys enjoyed going to the Playhouse Disney Live with us and my mom and Ren. Memphis cracked us up when some people were walking to their seats in front and he said, "Hey everybody, Memphis needs to see." My mom commented that it was the first time she has seen Maverick sit still for any length of time. The boys love to see all their grandparents and were so excited to spend that time with Grandpa and Grandma. It really was a neat event and it was fun watching the kids' faces.

In other events, I can park in our garage!! My wonderful hubby cleaned up the garage a bit and I can fit my car in there now. Now it needs to snow so I DON'T have to brush it off. ha ha. As most everyone knows, I have the best husband ever. And it meant so much to me that he did that. He and I are looking forward to spending Valentines together at a Mammoth game. Memphis has been going to the games with him and loves it. But I miss doing it - and it is the best with Scott.

Today, Memphis is home from school sick. He has been throwing up a bit. He was mad that I made him stay home and rest. Lets keep our fingers crossed that Maverick doesn't get it. Or Scott.
